For the tenth year, the Petersfield Society is asking for volunteers to help clean-up the Square and High Street before the Remembrance Service is held next Sunday.
The Council is doing most of the work so this is 'the icing on the cake', says one of the Society's Trustees, Beth Svoraska.
Speaking to Mike Waddington by the War Memorial, Beth explains what is happening and why this is important,, for cleanliness and safety but also to respect those being remembered.
Volunteers are asked to meet at 2pm on Saturday 8 November in the Festival Hall Car Park and also for a last minute check at 7:30am on Sunday morning.
